The Office
The Active Office is placed in Örebro, Sweden.
The Active office is responsible for the daily administration of the organisation, for being in touch with our member organisations and for assisting the Active board.
Since the year of 2003 we have been hosting volunteers from many European countries, based on the EVS-programme of the European Union. If you want to know more about how to become a volunteer in Active, click here.

I am 24 years old and come from Estonia. After graduating university, I decided to continue fulfilling my dreams, so I have worked one year in hospital as a physical therapist, lived in Scotland and Kenya, participated in the professional military training, hiked a lot in Estonia and other countries, written songs, participated in publishing a book about the soldier’s life in Afghanistan, helped to open the alcohol free café in my hometown… Now I ended up in Sweden with the aim to write some little different projects to integrate young people with fewer opportunities to the society of today´s youth, what can be sometimes really cruel, and to spread the attitude that life can be fun and crazy without alcohol in it.
