Active and its members have contributed to WHO NCDs consultations.

Both Active as umbrella and a huge number of member organisations have during the weeks of April been sending in their WHO NCD consultation replies to respective governments, the WHO and the European Commission. Through a coordinated and broad effort Active reached out to decision-makers in Germany, Bulgaria, Faroe Islands, Sweden, Estonia, Lithuania, Romania, the United Kingdom, Poland, Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Albania, Ukraine and Russia.

In many of these countries Active's member organisations in their turn mobilised their partners to contribute to the WHO NCD consultation - for example (among others) in Bosnia and Herzegovina, where 27 other NGOs could be mobilised to express their concern about alcohol as major risk factor for the NCDs health burden.
