1. When did you get in touch with Active for the first time?

I don’t have the best memory in the world, but I think I first heard of Active when I was invited to a NORDGU seminar in Örebro, in Sweden. That was in October 2008, so the seminar was held in the Active office.

I wasn’t even a member of UAE by then, I was just active in the clubhouse. But Kristiina Lepa was a volunteer on the Faroe Islands from February-May 2008, so she invited some of the active members of UAE and non-members, including me.

Since then I’ve learned lots and lots about Active.

2. What was the best Active experience that you had so far?

The Active congress this summer 2010 was by far the best Active experience I’ve had so far! It was the biggest congress I’ve ever attended, and I would be more than happy to go through the whole back-killing process of sleeping in a tent for way too long again, if I could get the opportunity to try it yet another time.

3. Which Active’s events did you attend?

I attended the Active congress 2010 and the Active seminar in Berlin 2010 “You can see, but do you understand”.

4. Why don’t you drink?

Why would I drink? I mean, alcohol is pure poison. I guess I don’t drink mostly for my own health. I also wish to be a good role model or example for other people. 

And I don’t want to be part of the alcohol norm, and show people that there are other ways to go, without alcohol.
