If you wanna change, you need to start it

I have rarely found people who are totally happy with their lives. In my country people always ask “how are you?” when you meet a person you know. It is pretty much a habit, and normally, not everybody wants to know how you really are, but if you want to, you can understand from people’s reactions and answers if they are happy or not.
Those reactions and answers are what made me think. Most of the people I am surrounded by claim they either have no time for themselves, or they don’t work with what they love, or they miss love, or they are depressed for the global and local social problems. I even find myself thinking some of these phrases are linking my life. On the other hand, they then show interest in the way other people live their life. They tell me I should start drinking, they claim I or anybody else, who is not following “the pattern” and the majority, is strange. In the end, they have the courage to tell other people what to change in their way of living, and they have no courage to delete the unsatisfied feeling about their own lives. Of course, this statement is very general, and refers to the majority of the people I meet.
Making a change in one’s life takes much more effort than staying at what one has at the moment. I think everybody should stand by its own life decisions and don’t blame other people about it. Yes, life can be much harder on some people, and in some cases it can be unfair, still it is you who decide the way you want to live your life. Change job, change friends, change the place you live in, the country you live in, or the music you listen to and the places you go to. Just start. Just make the change and appreciate what you have gained.
If you wake up, not feeling happy with the picture of yourself, then work hard to get the picture you want to see. I believe you will manage. Things are not always as bright, but anything is manageable. Just appreciate what you like, and be happy with what you have.
