Well, since the elections, we had a super-quick board meeting on the Summercamp in Ransberg, Sweden. We actually had a whole day put off for board activities. For the first half of the day we had get-to-know-each-other activities with the new board, which were great fun, and we got to know random facts about each other, like what pet we had when we were ten years old. The second part of the day was a joint meeting between the old and the new board, where we first had bonding activities between the boards –this might sound weird but it was very nice –sharing experiences from being in the board. And then we had the joint meeting where the old board gave lots of information in a very short time. And in the spirit of being efficient, plus that we had a tight time schedule, the board had our first board meeting, which felt like a normal board meeting played on fast-forward. It was fun, it was efficient, it was probably a bit overwhelming and it will be the fastest board meeting in our time as boardies of Active. The next one will take place in Örebro October 17-19 and will be a normal meeting, where people have more time to discuss and consider. Until then, we are making suggestions and decisions via e-mail, and we are ready to represent Active at the IOGT International AC meeting in September (Emilia), at Eurocare General Assembly in September (Maja) and at European Youth Forum General Assembly in November (Linn).
