Yesterday, February 10th 2016, was a historic moment for the civil society as the Informal Interactive Stakeholder Consultation took place in New York. The consultation was organized as one of the preparatory activities towards the UNGASS (United Nations General Assembly Special Session) on Drugs and it was the biggest event for the civil society before the UNGASS, and a great possibility to influence the process.
Our very own Julius Kramer, one of the youth representatives in the Civil Society Task Force on Drugs, took the floor to reflect on the role and importance of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in working with the world drug problem, the needed focus on prevention and the necessity to protect youth rights and the rights of the child. Way to go Julius !
